Meet Our Principal<\/h2>

Evariste Mukanya Katanga is Chairman of Fonds de Garantie de l\u2019Entrepreneuriat au Congo (\u201cFOGEC\u201d), DRC\u2019s Guarantee Fund for Entrepreneurship and a partner of Alternative Funding Advisors (\u201cAFA\u201d), a US-based boutique investment bank.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Evariste Katanga holds an Executive MBA from University of Cape Town-Graduate School of Business (\u201cUCT-GSB\u201d) and a BCom\/ Finance degree from the Australian higher education institution Bond University (SA Campus). <\/p>\n

From 2007 to 2008, Evariste Katanga was a regular weekly contributor of CNBC Africa\u2019s Market Africa program aired at prime time in South Africa.<\/p>\n

 From 2001 to 2021, Evariste\u2019s extensive sub-Sahara professional experience took him from capital markets to Project Finance and corporate finance\/Investment banking where he was busy with Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) transactions for Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) companies. <\/p>

He held the following positions:<\/h2><\/p>\nChief Financial Officer (CFO) of AEE Power Holdings, a pan African power holdings company operating out of Madrid in Spain to service sub-Saharan countries (2019-2021)\nCharg\u00e9 d\u2019Affaires for Agence Fran\u00e7aise de D\u00e9velopment, the French Development Bank (2017 to 2019).\nInvestment officer, Senior Investment officer and Regional Manager at the Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA). (2008 to 2017).\nA consultant for various companies including Africa Investor, Jonah Capital of Sir Sam Jonah, Blue Financial Services, Wing Wah Petroleum and Zenith Bank plc.
